October 30th Update
This was a busy week, with many classes taking their learning beyond the walls of the classroom. We had classes visit the Military Museum, Calgary Public Library, Telus Spark, Lougheed House and the Education Building. We explored VOICE and how people across our city use their voice to make a difference. Thank you to our teachers for planning off site opportunities and all the work involved. Thank you to our parent volunteers for helping to make this possible.
We hosted our annual Halloween parade today, with Mr. Link's class setting up the path through the gym. Thank you to all of our parent guests who came to see our costumes.
Leaving Early: When students are signed out early, office staff need to account for this in PowerSchool. As you can imagine, after a large school event, if many students left early this would be a significant workload on the front office. We also want students to finish each day with their teacher and class as we know every minute counts. We thank you for understanding that after field trips and school events, we ask parents to wait until the dismissal bell to pick up their child.
