- Join us ONLINE to learn about Montessori, registration, and lottery details. This meeting will be on Tuesday, January 14 at 7:00pm. The link is on our How to Register page or Click here for the Teams Link.
- Join us IN-PERSON for our Open House on Thursday, January 30 from 6:30-7:30pm. Doors open at 6:30pm. Parents will have the opportunity to talk to staff, visit classrooms and learn about Montessori at LBS.
Open House
At our open house you will get an opportunity to see examples of Montessori pedagogy and tenets:
• Kindergarten classroom: Early Learning Montessori
• Grade 1-2 Literacy and Numeracy (highlighting Montessori materials)
• Grade 3-4 Science and Inquiry; Peace Education; Responsible Work Choice
• Grade 5-6 Fostering Independence, Work Period and Leadership
• Music
• Tea Service; Grace and Courtesy
• Active Living, Land Based Learning and Environmental Stewardship
• Meet our School Council and members of MAPSS (Montessori Alternative Public School Society)
• Before/after school care programs in our area have been invited

Registration Information
- Registration opens Monday, January 13, 2025 for K-2
- Grade 3-6 registrations require previous Montessori experience; call the school for more information
