October 2^nd Update

This week we honoured Orange Shirt Day. Many classes contributed to our assembly. As we focus our entire year on VOICE, students demonstrated how they can use their voice to make a positive different in our world. Whether reading a story, reciting a poem, singing a song or acknowledging the land, our students are practicing ways that their voice can teach, share, celebrate and recognize. You will find our updated "Commitment to Truth and Reconciliation" on our About Us page.

World Teachers' Day

Monday is World Teachers' Day and we want to thank our amazing teachers for their incredible commitment, dedication and love for the profession! We feel fortunate to have this wonderful staff of Montessori educators at our school.

Traffic update – Safety OVER Convenience

We want to thank our parent volunteers who are out on the cross-walk morning and afternoon, rain and shine. We urge parents to follow to the signage on the streets, regardless of pylons or adults in yellow vests.  The main road in front of the school continues to be NO STOPPING. 120^th Avenue is a single lane road when cars are parked on both sides, making the street narrow and unsafe. One great options continues to be stopping on Lake Sylvan Drive, the road on the south side of the school and letting students out to walk across the field.

School Shirts: We are happy to offer an online store where parents can choose to purchase school shirts, crewnecks and hoodies. Please watch the sizing guide on the website as there are no refunds or returns. Ordering deadline is October 10^th at midnight.
