Room 7 and 8 hosted a beautiful Remembrance day assembly today. They highlighted the importance of peace and the sacrifice that has been made for us to enjoy the freedoms we have. We extend our gratitude for all of the donations to the Veterans Food Bank of essential items. The two tables are overflowing and we know they will appreciate the generosity of the LBS Community.

Tomorrow is the start of fall break. We hope everyone has a restful break. We return back to school on Wednesday, November 15^th.

Student Learning Conferences

Conference bookings open Thursday, November 9th at 8:00am. You will need to sign into your MyCBE/PowerSchool account to book your conference. Support can be found at these pages. 

Kindergarten conferences: There is NO school FOR KINDERGARTEN on November 23rd to accommodate Kindergarten conferences. Kindergarten conference booking will close on November 22nd at midnight. Kindergarten conferences are 15 minutes long. The conference times are: November 23 11:30-3:00 and 4:00-7:30; November 24 8:00-1:00

Grade 1-6 conferences: The grades conferences will be 15 minutes long. Conference bookings close on November 23rd at noon. Please book before the closing time. The conference times are November 23 4:00-7:30 and November 24 8:00-1:00.

Please note: only one booking can be made per child/per teacher. If you require an additional conference or additional time, please contact your child’s teacher to arrange this.

Digital Citizenship

Please take some time to review our Digital Citizenship page on our website with information on personal devices. Classroom use of personal electronic devices is at the discretion of the classroom teacher to enhance learning. Students should not be using smartwatches during the school hours to text or take/receive phone calls.
