Thank you for joining us Thursday and Friday for Teacher Led learning conferences. It is such an important time and opportunity to share student achievement and information about where your child is at. Thank you for being partners in education.

Peace Education

We celebrate the work in each our classrooms on peaceful conflict resolution through developing the skills to engage in peace talks and also knowing when to ask an adult for support. Throughout the school, students have collaborated in their classes to discuss what peace is and how we all can promote peace in our everyday lives. Thank you for supporting us in these conversations at home as well. We love hearing the connections.

Winter Event

Mark you calendars! December 14 from 6:30-8:00 will be our winter event. More details to come.

Lost and Found

We love when winter items and water bottles are labelled with your child’s name. It helps us connect lost items so quickly. Please know that our lost and found will be set up during conference time. Stop by and take a look to see if any items belong to your family. Unclaimed items will be donated near the end of November.

Subscribe to receive messages

Many of our families are missing emails from the school that have commercial content included such as fundraising, healthy hunger, field trips, etc. Did you know that you need to subscribe to receive messages each year? You might be missing out on certain content, such as Healthy Hunger or fundraising opportunities. Please take a look at the subscribe page to learn more.

Art Cards for Kids

Tuesday, November 28^th is the LAST day to order art cards so the products can arrive by December 8^th and families can mail out their beautiful cards to family and friends. If you have misplaced your child’s code, you can contact the office.

MAPSS Cookie Fundraiser

The MAPSS cookie fundraiser is now open. Order cutoff date is December 12. Pick up is at LBS on December 19^th 2:00-4:00. You can order at this link.
