May 23^rd Update 

The school was a little bit quieter this week as our entire grade 5-6 group attend Outdoor School at Camp Chief Hector. They had a great week exploring nature, playing the animal game, learning new skills and sleeping in yurts! A BIG thanks to all of the staff who attended outdoor school. This is a huge commitment of time and energy in all of the preplanning and preparations and then the 24/7 of the camp week itself. We are incredibly grateful to the team for making this possible for our grade 5-6 students. We are glad to have the campers back! 

This week we welcomed Elder Shirley to our school. Many classes had their time with her, listening to story and learning hoop dancing. Each class has had a unique experience from her teachings. Thank you to School council for supporting this residency. 

Lost and Found 

Once again our lost and found is growing and growing. It is again on display in the halls for students to view. It is incredibly helpful to have hoodies, jackets, toques and water bottles labelled. We can easily return these to your child when they are labelled.  All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the day May 29^th. Please encourage your child to look for any missing items.
