June 21^st Update 

On Friday, we honoured National Indigenous Peoples Day. We began with an assembly where we learned about this day and also the science behind Summer Solstice. Then the entire school went outside to journal in sit spots. We used a technique that focused our attention on what we could see when we looked up, down and side to side. We were engaged in observing the space around us and being still to notice the bugs in the grass, the birds in the sky and the sounds all around us. 

Students will start bringing items home this week. Any items left in lost and found will be donated on Friday. Teachers will be bringing students to the lost and found tables this week to look at items. 

Report Cards 

Report Cards are available for viewing June 26-July 26.  Please take the time to review, download and print if you like. After July 26^th they will not be accessible. For more information see this page 

2024-2025 School Year 

Mark your calendars – as we end this year we are also thinking ahead for next year. Wednesday, August 28^th will be our traditional Sneak-a-Peek from 12:00-1:00.  Next year’s calendar will be available soon on our website. 

Don’t forget to register before the first deadline for bussing for next year for your address to be considered for congregated bus stops in the summer planning. Apply by June 16^th! 

Class Lists 

Please know that teachers have already begun the process of creating class lists. This is a very complicated task and teachers know their students so well to set them up for success next year. We cannot honour every request that comes in.
