June 19^th Update 

It is hard to believe that this is our last weekly update for the 2025-2026 school year. We have had an incredible year learning together. A very busy week is left ahead. Please mark your calendars for the special days below. 

We want to thank all of our parent volunteers who are donating their time to volunteer at the Casino this week. Thank you so much for your dedication!!  

At the end of this week, students will be bringing home all of their items. We will be encouraging all students to look through our very large collection of lost and found items. All items left at the end of the year will be donated. Any items that are labelled will be returned to students. 

This coming week there will be a number of outdoor activities. Please help your child be prepared to dress for the weather. Sunscreen and bug spray should be applied prior to school. We ask that you do not send these with your child. 

Staffing Update 

The end of a school year always brings changes and transitions as staff move and challenge themselves in new roles. In the last half of the school year, we have been fortunate to have additional support from Chantelle Stewart and Sophie Edmonds. They have been an incredibly valuable addition to our team. We wish them the best as they move to new schools in September. 

We are also sad to see Mrs. Cooper leave at the end of this school year. She has been a creative and thoughtful member of our grade 3-4 team. Mrs. Cooper will be moving to Dr. Freda Millar school at the start of next school year. We wish her the best on her transition. We will be welcoming Mrs. Gray from Eugene Coste School to join our staff.
