June 13th Update 

This was an interesting week with the Air Quality index reaching points to where we had to stay inside. We were happy to see the rain yesterday and the shift in weather so we can enjoy outside time.  

Thursday we had our last Healthy Hunger. A big thanks to Natalie for leading this initiative. We know both parents and students enjoy this break from packing lunches. Thank you to all of the volunteers who come to support distribution. 

Most of our classes are done field trips for the year. Please check your MyCBE powerschool account to ensure you have paid all of your fees. 

Thank you to all of the students who have contributed their yearbook cover to the contest. We look forward to the unveiling of the yearbook in SEPTEMBER.  Order information is below – please order before the deadline to avoid disappointment.  

2025-2026 Calendar 

Our 2025-2026 calendar has been approved and is added to the website https://lakebonavista.cbe.ab.ca/calendar  With our bell times changing, we have done some rescheduling to account for the change in times. Please note Grade 1-6 hours are 8:10-2:40. We will continue to have soft entry, with doors opening at 8:00. Recess will be bumped to the morning at 10:20-1:35.  Our lunch period will now be 11:55-12:31. 

Kindergarten AM will be 8:10-11:00 and PM classes will be 11:50-2:40.
