January 29th Update
This week we kick started Family Literacy Day with a special assembly. We read the story “The Magical Yet”. It shares the power of YET and how one simple word can change our perspectives. Things like: I can’t ride my bike...yet! I can’t read a chapter book...yet! When we open our minds to a growth mindset we know that each day we are growing and learning.
As part of Family Literacy Day, students each brought home a Go for the Gold page. We are challenging students and their families to complete as many items on the bingo card as they can. Students have almost a full month before they return their pages to school. Have fun reading, writing, and playing with literacy together!
Author Visit: Mark your calendars!!! We are THRILLED to welcome author David Bouchard to our school in February. On February 26th he will be presenting to students. On February 26th at 6:30pm he will be sharing a special presentation “The Gift of Reading” to our parents. Watch for an RSVP to come your way.

📸 MAPSS Photography Fundraiser — February 7 & 8
We’re excited to share that our annual MAPSS Photography Fundraiser with Anastasia Kircheva Photography is happening on February 7th and 8th. This year, sessions are being offered at two different locations, so families can choose the option that works best for them and only cost $75.
