January 24th Update

Thank you for joining us at our Family Literacy Day event. It was lovely seeing families enjoying great books together. We also love the Montessori mentorship and how all of our students were able to join together and enjoy the love of literacy.

This week we had support with traffic safety at our school. We encourage all parents to choose safety over convenience. We continue to struggle with drivers ignoring the “No Stopping” zone. This creates an unsafe bottleneck as our narrow street turns into a single lane road. During the school day, the no stopping zone provides two way traffic. It allows for the traffic to flow more freely and creates greater visibility for our crosswalk. Once one driver stops and/or parks it encourages others to stop as well. Please help our community and contribute to the safety of all by following the signage. When community members call our school reporting traffic complaints, it reflects on us all, and particularly the foundations of Montessori that we are all trying to build upon. Thank you, in advance, for supporting us in improving traffic safety.

Report cards are available for viewing on Monday, January 27 through your PowerSchool account. Remember there is a viewing window that closes so be sure to print or save a copy for future reference.
