We are very happy to see the weather shifting to warmer temperatures. Students and staff worked through several blue days and did a great job shifting to indoor recesses. We certainly love playing outside. Thank you for supporting our outdoor play by ensuring your child is dressed for the weather.

Next week is Family Literacy Week! Taking time every day to read or do a learning activity with children supports child development and improves literacy skills. We will be sharing some ideas to promote fun literacy engagement as a family.

Montessori Tenet

Responsibility is an important tenet of Montessori education. Teaching the skills to be responsible includes things like supporting time management, learning how to prioritize tasks and taking care of ourselves, our place and others. Responsibility is a process that comes with time and opportunity to practice.

Family Dance

The family dance is Wednesday, February 14 and is a School Council sponsored event.

Yummy perogies and sausage are available from the local and well-loved, Prairie Gourmet Perogies. Shopping is open now until February 8th at 11:59 pm. Order pick up will be on February 22nd at 2:15 – 3:15 pm in the LBS teachers parking lot. Follow the link or QR code to register as a seller. Use the password “LBSCOUNCIL”.
