February 28th Update

We have seen a REMARKABLE difference in traffic in front of the school. Thank you to everyone for noting the traffic signs and honouring the no stopping zone.  It makes a huge difference in visibility at the crosswalk and congestion behind the busses. Traffic is not narrowed to a single lane.

We also love that students are getting a fresh air and active start to their day when they cross the field.  Staff are at the doors from 8:00-8:10 and then walk around the school at 8:10 to ensure all students are safely inside. Thank you for fostering independence in students and trusting them to safely cross the school field to their doors during this time.

Gratitude

We would like to extend our gratitude to MAPSS for supporting our joint PD day with Killarney and CJP Montessori alternative program schools. Friday was a great day of learning for LBS staff.
