February 26th Update
The Go For the Gold Challenge is complete. Families have participated in a wide variety of literacy tasks and we hope you had fun. Students shared some of their experiences with us and many reported they loved visiting the library, playing scrabble and reading with flashlights. In total we earned 48 Golds, 50 Silver and 25 Bronze awards. Congratulations to all participants on their great work sharing the love of literacy!
This week we hosted David Bouchard and his important message of The Gift of Reading. He played his flutes and told us stories. He promoted the understanding that each student has a unique gift to share. Thank you to our School Council for providing this opportunity to our students and parent community.
Author Visit: It's not too late. We are THRILLED to welcome author David Bouchard to our school in February. On February 26th he will be presenting to students. On February 26th at 6:30pm he will be sharing a special presentation “The Gift of Reading” to our parents. Please RSVP using this form so we can prepare. We would love to fill our space with parents hearing this celebrated author!
Traffic Safety: Thank you for your support with improving traffic safety. Please share the traffic update with relatives and caregivers who might not receive our emails but do pick up and drop off.
